DENISE FINDLAY PAI
Denise (b. 1973) has an incredible artistic pedigree that dates back to her Great, Great Grandfather the painter and educationalist Fra Newbery (1855 - 1946). Denise studied at the Glasgow School of Art (1992 - 1996), and was ahead of her time in examining and showcasing the female viewpoint. It is generally recognised that by spotlighting these 'modern-topical' issues, Findlay has made a landmark and critical contribution to the development of Scottish Art in this period.
DALE BISSLAND
Dale (b. 1985) is a modern realist advocate and painter. He is intensely interested in the rebirth of classical painting techniques delivered in a modern language. This series of paintings reflects Dale's continuing focus on his own artistic development and he is shaping a particular expertise in his textural, light and tonal effect. Everything in his approach is carefully considered and deeply rooted in books and his own art research. We are looking at a very exciting artistic talent who is really only at the start of his artistic journey and fame - we are very excited about his huge potential.
