The American Dream
Saturday 7th February to Sunday 15th February 2015, from 11.00am to 5.00pm daily.
Garry Brander crossed America in September 2014, travelling some 5000 miles by road from New York to Miami and across the southern states to his final destination Los Angeles.
Brander used his brush to represent the variations in the architecture and buildings but also to make a light statement about 'the American Dream'.
His title is tongue in cheek as he found that it was a country of wide contrasts and contradictions. He was also inspired by the artistic power of the street art that he came across in New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles.
