It is appropriate that we take time to celebrate Glasgow, particularly as we welcome visitors from across the world to Glasgow over the period of the XX Commonwealth Games, Glasgow 2014.

Edward Chisnall
The Commonwealth of Glasgow

This is a historically important study. It records Chisnall's overview of Glasgow history with 62 separately presented features, which offer his insight into Glasgow's great history.
The image is already present as postcards and cards in many card shops across Glasgow.
Edward Chisnall (b 1941) Studied GSA from 1960 to 1965.
Chisnall is a painter, author and radio broadcaster and is a renowned Glasgow Historian.
He has kindly agreed to do a talk and then discussion on Celebrating Glasgow on Saturday 26th July from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
Please feel free to come along and learn about your city and ask relevant questions.
His depth of knowledge and stories about Glasgow are fascinating. You will be entertained.
